Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara

Image
This Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara  is one of the most expensive mascaras I have ever paid for! This mascara retails at $28.50! Okay, it's not the most expensive mascara either (*cough* Lancome *cough* Givenchy ). However, it's the only expensive mascara that I paid near the full price for, and I am so happy and relieved that I love it! Dior says this is " a revolutionary mascara, enriched with a volume boosting formula with a curved brush that offers spectacular volume and curling power. Statistically, it promises 53% more volume and 111% more curl ."

[Holiday 2016] Besame Brightening Setting Powders Review

Image
I love skin brightening makeup. I already have too many for just one person to use up in one lifetime, but what can I say, makeup is an obsession. So when I heard of Besame's Brightening Setting Powders , I really wanted to try them, and the packaging is so adorable. (High fives for cute packaging! Just take my money now.) Luckily, my craving for Besame makeup started around the holiday season, and I was able to get my hands on this awesome trio set. I bought this  Brightening Setting Powder at Sephora  set for $25.00, and it consists of three 0.1 oz powders in shifter containers. A full size retails at $22.00 for 0.21 oz each. So I think I got a pretty good deal here.

[Holiday 2016] Marc Jacobs The (Nude)ist Show

Image
How cute is this Marc Jacobs lip set? This comes with two mini-size lipsticks of Marc Jacobs Nudes Sheer Gel Lipsticks in Role Play and Screen Play, as well as, a deluxe sample of Marc Jacobs (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Prim(Rose). This would make a sweet stocking stuffer for a makeup lover. I mean, I would personally be excited to see this in my stocking on Christmas morning.

[Holiday 2016] Tarte Kiss Bliss Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint & Crayon Set Review

Image
This is such a neat Holiday Lip set! It comes with 5 Deluxe Tarteist Lip Crayons and 5 Deluxe Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paints . This retails at $46.00 with a value of $70.00. It didn't take me a lot of convincing to place an order despite the mass amount of negative reviews on the Sephora website. The complaints were mostly geared toward the lip liners. Many stated that the liners were dry, have no pigment, and crumble easily.

[Holiday 2016] Stila "Naturally Nude" Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set Review

Image
My obsession was reignited first with the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipsticks, now it intensified with this, the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Matte Lipsticks . I am so obsessed! I knew I adored matte liquid lipsticks the I went on a drugstore matte liquid lip craze earlier this year, but these higher end brands are on a whole new level!

[Holiday 2016] Tarte Tartelette Tease Review

Image
I'm on the hunt for the perfect travel eyeshadow palette. I want something that is easy to use (as in shadow blendability), have beautiful colors, and is compacted enough to not take up too much space since I want to be able to carry all my belongings on the plane with me.   RELATED LINK: My Travel Channel "WANDERLUSTWITHALICE" So when I saw this  tartelette  tease palette  for $21.00, I knew I had to try it. I have heard a lot of great things about Tarte Eyeshadows, so this small, mini palette was the perfect opportunity to try a new brand, and to check off something I "needed" in my travel list.

[Holiday 2016] Tarte "Gallery Gals" Deluxe Tarteist Eyeliner Set Review

Image
Yes, this cute Ornament Set is part of Tarte's Holiday Collection, but it doesn't mean you can't buy these in their full sizes at $24.00 each, (I believe "Black" is the only color option in this line for now) and it comes with a full size brush!  This cute little set is $19.00 with the value of $28.00, and you get to try out two verses one color, which is the reason on why I bought this. Tarte has another Holiday Set "Wing Workers Deluxe Tarteist" Eyeliner Set" ($35.00) that comes with four mini eyeliner colors and a full-size brush. After trying these liners out, I got to say I am a fan. It does smudge at the corners, but I love the creamy formula and innovative packaging so much that I'm okay with a little smudge.  RELATED POST: [Holiday 2016] Tarte Cosmetics Tarte "Works of Tarte" Color Wheel Amazonian Clay Blush Palette Review Tarte claims these Clay Paint Liners to be waterproof and offers a seamless, no-budge...

[Holdiay 2016] Tarte Cosmetics Tarte Color Wheel Blush Palette Review

Image
I am over the moon with this palette! I usually do not buy any of Tarte's Holiday sets because I find them to be quite bulky, and frankly they all come in gimmicky, cutesy packaging that I find impractical. I know that I will end up not using it once the holiday season have passed. However, this Tarte Cosmetics Color Wheel 10-Blush Palette is simply wonderful!

[Holiday 2016] Smashbox "Light It Up" Trio Palettes: Eyes, Contour, Lips Set

Image
I didn't mean to WHAM! you all in the face with such a big and colorful picture right off the bat, but you have to admit, this Smashbox Light It Up Trio Palette Set is quite a head turner. Its loud neon packaging is what caught my attention, and you can see that I ended up buying it.  (No self control indeed...)

Kat Von D "Immortal Lash" 24-Hour Mascara Review

Image
The black and red design on the packaging is perfect for this mascara's name, "Immortal Lash". The matte tube looks menacing and forbidden. Even so, I knew I had to try it. I haven't seen or heard people talk about this mascara unless I specifically do some research on it, but this mascara has not been a mainstream favorite for a while now since it is considered old news. Even so, I finally got my hands on this baby, and I am so happy that I did.
