My Hair Cleanse/Deep Conditioning Routine (Dec. 2016)

Hi everyone! I thought it was about time I did an updated "My Hair Cleanse/Deep Conditioning Routine", especially since I have changed the products that I have been using. Here they are! They are both a few dollars cheaper than what I have been using before, and they work just as good at cleansing and deep conditioning my hair!  The Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo is not formulated to be an actual cleansing shampoo. It is formulated for those that have fine hair, and want a shampoo that will not weigh down their hair, but give them volume. So if this shampoo is suppose to be lightweight and uplift the roots for fine hair, imagine what it will do for someone that has thick hair like myself. This shampoo is extra light for my hair. In fact, my hair feels like how it would feel after I use a true clarifying shampoo, extremely clean! I used this shampoo in-between three or four washes. (This retails around $5.00 a bottle.) Haircare: L'oreal Advanced Haircare "Total Repair 5" Damage Erasing Balm

When it comes to hair masks or deep conditioners or balm types of hair products I'm always hesitant in trying them because more often then not, these intense hair treatments are usually a little too moisturizing or too nourishing for my hair. However, I have been dyeing my hair recently after nearly two years of going natural, so I know that my hair needs a treatment once in while due to the extra damage I am inflicting on it. So I decided to give  L'oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm  a try since I already have the shampoo & conditioner.  According to +L'OrĂ©al , this balm contains an ingredient called Ceramide that is suppose to fix 5 common hair problems:  1) Weakness, 2) Dryness, 3) Dullness, 4) Roughness, & 5) Split Ends.  L'oreal also claims that this balm will repair up to one year of damage done to the hair with just one use!
