The Perfect Summer to Fall Eyeshadow Palette!

Image
On the calendar it is officially Autumn...but tell that to the weather gods. It's still in the 80s and 90s here in the Silicon Valley, and frankly, I am really for everything to cool down! Putting the weather aside, let's talk about this gorgeous eyeshadow palette that I have finally broken out to use! It has the perfect colors to help you transition from a Summer look to a Fall look. I introduce to you, Milani's Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collection in "Earthy Elements" . The soft terra-cotta browns and orange tones bring in the fall shades, while the champagne sparkle leaves a trace of the summer. This is a beautiful palette from the drugstore that only retails at $11.00!

Mattifying & Pore-Minizing?--The Milani Prime Shield Face Primer

Image
Hello fellow makeup lovers! Today, I have a primer from Milani to share with you. I was instantly sold on the "Mattifying & Pore-Minimizing" words written on its packaging. I love the ideas of erasing my pores...I mean who doesn't want smooth looking skin. Those pesky pores just get in the way on our journey to flawless skin! So whenever I see a product that promises to diminish to look of my pores, I am interested! Let's start off with the claims of the Milani Prime Shield Face Primer. This Mattifying & Pore-Minimizing Primer claims to soften the appearance of fine lines, large pores and flaws. It also claims to create a smooth canvas for makeup application while providing a matte finish.  So does it do any of these things?

[Milani Cosmetics] Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment Review

Image
I was so excited when I saw these Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatments   at CVS. What caught my eye are the different scents and the names that comes with it. Come on, with names like, Rejuvenating Peach Mango and Healing Lemon Honey, how can that not grab your attention!

Milani Eye Liquid-Like Eyeliner Pencil (Mechanical)

Image
I wasn't a huge fan of their "Liquid Eye Liquid-Like Eyeliner" in pencil form when I tried them out years back when they are all the rage. Everyone was comparing the pencil to the Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners, which was the reason on why I tried them to begin with. They smudged so badly within an hour of wear that I had to put them away for good. Then I saw these "The Liquid Eye Liquid-like Eyeliner Pencils" in the mechanical/retractable version and wondered if it was the same smudge crazy formula I had tried years back, or has Milani changed their formula since then? So I picked up the black and blue liners to find out.

Eye Shadows: Milani Fierce Foil Eye Shine "Florence" Review

Image
If I can describe in three words this cream, glossy eye shine quad from Milani's Fierce Foil line, they would be: Beautiful. Sparkly. Intense.  According to Milani , these are not eyeshadows. They are, and I quote  " extraordinary eye-enhancing, game-changing gloss can be swept on bare lids." From experience, they can be used as an all-over lid color, over eyeshadow for that some extra sparkle, and as an eyeliner or inner-corner highlight. These eye shines can be very versatile.

Milani "NEW 2015" Makeup

Image
To be completely honest, Milani never caught my attention enough to want to go all out on a Milani shopping spree. Yes, I have bought an eyeliner or a lipstick here and there, but nothing was so amazing that had me running to the Milani display every time I enter a drugstore.  This year, 2015, Milani came out with an incredible array of new products, that might just change how I feel for this brand. First of all, everything is packaged to perfection. Everything looks sleek in its gold-plated packaging and the colors of the products themselves look equally amazing, but that was not the only thing that impressed me. There are quite a few gems in these new products that has me wanting more from Milani Cosmetics.

Nails: "Glided Rocks" By Milani Cosmetics

Image
OMG! I am in "LOVE" with this Milani Color Statement Nail Polish in Glided Rocks!  On my nails are two coats.   It is so packed with glitter, you would have never known the base is actually clear, not gold. One coat is all you need to get its full glitter coat of polish.

Review: "NEW" Milani Rose Powder Blushes

Image
Milani recently came out with some new products (which I did pick a lot up), but today I want to focus on their new blushes because they are so visually appealing! These blushes have a 3-D rose-molded shape in a nice clear, plastic cover with a gold casing.  These do not come with a mirror or a brush, like most drugstore blushes would.  The overall look is very sophisticated and very spring appropriate. I know that this picture is not doing the blushes any favors. I will have other pictures of the blushes without it's clear-plastic covering later on the post. However, it doesn't take away the fact that these are some of the most beautiful-looking, drugstore blushes I have ever seen in a while.
