First Aid Beauty "Fab Cleanse & Exfoliate" Duo

Image
Over the Holidays...yes I am talking about November and December of 2017, I bought this little face cleanser set from First Aid Beauty for $10.00, and I finally got to giving it a go. The set came with a 2.0 oz face cleanser and 10 Facial Radiance Pads.

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser 3-in-1 Cleansing Gel Review

Image
This cleanser has three phases to it. It goes on as a gel , but turns into an oil from the warmth of your skin, and once you add some water, it turns to a milky-cream . It's quite a fascinating experience. This cleanser also contains three benefits for the skin:  1) Vitamin C (Brightens, supports natural collagen, and neutralizes free radical) 2) Rose Hip Oil (Natural source of omega 3, 6, and 9; regenerates, repairs, and nourishes)  3) Virgin Cherry Oil (Rich in Vitamins and Antioxidants; reduces redness and hydrates) Hence why it is called "Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser 3-in-1 Cleansing Gel" .

Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Review

Image
The Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding is Boscia's newest addition to its pore minimizing line. A line I have been eyeing for some time now. So when Sephora was offering a free sample of 0.84 fl oz. or 25mL with a purchase of $35.00, I immediately placed my order to get my hands on it. A full size retails at $38.00 for 2.8 fl oz, 85mL. What's reason for my immediate response? Well...look at it! Look at that black and white swirl of promising pore-cleaning action!

Neutrogena Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser Review

Image
This is a pore refining exfoliating cleanser that is suppose to help your skin with minimizing your pores in two ways:  1. It contains microbeads that will gently scrub off dead skin leaving behind smooth skin, and  2. It contains an Alpha-Hydroxy Formula that cleans pores of dirt and makeup.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner Review

Image
This is an "Alcohol-Free" Toner ...meaning there should be no burning, no stripping, and no drying of the skin when using this product. It's true. There is definitely no burning or tingling or any type of discomfort when using this toner. This toner is definitely great for sensitive skin individuals because it literally feels like water on the skin. If it didn't have a nice fragrant scent, I would have thought I was applying water to my face. The  +Neutrogena  Alcohol-Free Toner is formulated with special mild purities that gently removes dirt and makeup from the skin. It also refreshes and reconditions the skin. My skin does feel refreshed after I wipe down my face with this, but cold water makes me feel the way. I have been using this product for over a month now and I feel that this toner is not doing anything for my skin. I guess I wanted something a bit stronger. I am used toners giving my skin a slight warming sensation. This warming sensation lets me ...

Bliss "FABULOUS MAKEUP MELT" Gel-to-Oil Cleanser

Image
I got into oil/cream makeup removers after I tried the   Pur~lisse Pur-delicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser. It worked so well with even the most caked on makeup that I was interested in trying out similar products. So when I saw this "Fabulous Makeup Melt Gel-to-Oil Cleanser" by Bliss on Sephora's Sales page, I immediately scooped it up.

Face Masks: Dr. Brandt Pores No More Blackhead Removal Vacuum Cleaner Mask

Image
The Pores No More Blackhead Removal Vacuum Cleaner Mask is a " gentle exfoliating mask that helps loosen and extract blackheads without painful extortion tools while absorbing excess oil. Dr. Brandt's exclusive formula combines salicylic and glycolic acid to assist in the release of blackheads while Eijitsu Rose tightens up the look of pores."                             ~ Dr. Brandt Skincare ~ In the beginning I was not impressed with this pore de-cloggng mask from Dr. Brandt's Skincare Line. For its price tag of $45.00 for 1 oz. of product, I expected instant results and when I did not see any results after using the mask twice in a couple days I was tempted in writing this product off as a dud. Luckily I stuck with it and used it a couple more times. After the fifth or so use I finally saw some changes to my pores. The stubborn blackheads that hung around my nose area actually looked a bit lighter. ...

Skincare: Ole Henriksen "The Whole Truth Kit" Review

Image
I recently bought this kit, mainly because I was already a huge fan of the Truth Serum Collagen Booster from +OLEHENRIKSEN , so I thought this little kit was a great way to try out more from the Vitamin C Truth Collection without having to fork over the full price marks of each product. Yes, I have already reviewed a few of these products before, so I am just going to give you the highlights of each product, but if you are interested in a more in-depth review, the links will be provided!

Skincare: Ole Henriksen "Truth Creme Advanced Hydration"

Face Scrubs: Epice "Purifying Exfoliant"

Image
So I received this " Purifying Exfoliant " from an Ipsy Bag, and this is one of the few items I am very happy in receiving! I am planning on ordering a full size, once the company decides to restock their inventory, but that just validates how popular the scrub is. This is a pretty hefty priced product. At $29.95, you get 2.7 oz of product, and the 1.0 oz travel size still cost $11.99! So this product is not cheap. Epice describes this exfoliant as an "unique exfoliant because it is a moisture-rich formula, non-irritating and anti-bacterial scrub that cleanses with micro-fine polyspheres which gently exfoliates excess dead cells and environmental debris from the skin."

Toners: Lumene "Bright Touch Refreshing Toner" Review

Image
I never gave a hoot about face toners before. I never thought it would make a difference to my skin until I researched more about it. Toners happen to be one of the most important steps in a skincare regime. It removes whatever dirt or oils left on the skin that cleansers don't take off, and in return minimizes the appearance of pores. It also rebalances the pH levels of the skin, which is extremely important for those that have acne prone skin. It is also a great skin refresher. So the toner I have been using of late is the Lumene " Bright Touch Refreshing Toner " for Normal/Combination Skin. I use it every night after I cleanse my face and I have been really enjoying it.

Skincare: Ole Henriksen "3 little Wonders" Review

Image
I have been using the "3 Little Wonders" trio for the past several months now (since the start of February 2015) and from my personal experience, they are definitely "3 Little Wonders". Ole Henriksen's 3 Little Wonders consists of: (1) The Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster , (2) The Invigorating Night Treatment Gel , and (3) The Sheer Transformation Moisturizer . "These 3 multitasks work in synergy to brighten, resurface, and hydrate using the most potent untagging powerhouses: Vitamin C, Essential Fatty Acids, & Alpha Hydroxy Acids-- the 3 pillar ingredients of Ole's Skincare."                                                                                                   --Ole Henriksen--

Skincare: Ole Henriksen "Invigorating Night Treatment" Review

Image
"It's an overnight treatment that accelerates cell turnover to dramatically smooth the texture and fine lines of your skin. It also evens skinniness and minimizes the appearance of pores."                                                     -Description taken from "invigorating night gel" Ole Henriksen- WOW! I really like the sound of that description! I also like the color of the packaging, Green, which to me signifies renewal and refreshness, and since there is a special deal of $22.50 to try out this treatment, as well as, the other two of Ole Henriksen's 3 little wonders for the skin, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to give this intriguing night treatment a try and see if I like it.
