Marc Jacobs O!MegaLash Mascara Review

Image
I have been eyeing makeup from Marc Jacobs ever since it has made its appearance. Today, I will be reviewing my very first Marc Jacobs makeup product! I present to you the O!MegaLash Mascara . OMG! I love it!

Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer Review

Image
Watch video review: "(Q+H) Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer Review" I have a love-hate relationship with this Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact since the first time I used it. It is a cream to powder foundation where I find it is great for my oily-combination skin. It has medium to full coverage, but it is comfortable to wear. It retails at $15.99, depending on where you buy it, but the price tag is not the reason why I have mixed feelings about this foundation.

Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: 3 Mini Lip + 3 Nail Polish Duo

Image
So I have recently just finished reviewing all the fun and exotic colors of the Studded X Collection between Kat Von D and Formula X. They are all  individually sold at $15.00  at Sephora. Today, I present to you the rest of the collaboration colors between these two fine beauty brands. These are the wearable colors of the bunch, and they come in a trio set, priced at $29.50 .

L'oreal Infallible Pro-Spray & Set "Makeup Extender Setting Spray" Review

Image
I remember when this L'oreal Infallible Pro-Spray & Set "Makeup Extender Setting Spray" hit stores last year (2015). Everyone was going ballistic that there is now a makeup setting spray available at the drugstore. I, of course, was too cool for that...just kidding! I picked it up the moment I saw this.

Too Faced "BETTER THAN SEX" Mascara Review

Image
"BETTER THAN SEX"...that is a very strong claim on a name of a Mascara, and I can not believe I am now trying it since it has come out for quite some time now.  So the main question is, does it live to its name.

Make Up For Ever Makeup (My first Haul for this Makeup Line)

Image
Okay, I have heard of them. I haven't been living under a rock...I just never got around to buying them until late December 2015 & early January 2016 I saw that a lot of their stuff were on clearance at Sephora and I had a 20% off (or was it 15%? 10%?) code for all their clearance items...so I bought a few things and more recently.  To Watch, " My first MAKE UP FOR EVER haul ", please click on the link provided.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist 5 Lipstick Palette in "RED"

Image
This is my 1st Make Up For Ever Lip Product I have ever tried and what a great first experience! I have heard from many sources that Make Up For Ever's Makeup is rich and intense in pigmentation, and the quality of their products are outstanding. This  Rouge Artist 5 Lipstick Palette in "RED" lived up and beyond my expectations. I was literally mind-blown!

Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Matte Eye Pencil Review

Image
Initially I was impressed with how black this Kajal Matte Eye Pencil swatched on the back of my hand. I also love the fact that it is also Matte, which is a nice change since I had a lot of experiences where a liner will claim to be matte, but it still have a shine to it.  Then I used it on my eyes...

Hot or Not: Maybelline Brow Products "2016"

Image
This year, Maybelline have come out with five new brow products! I appreciate the fact that Maybelline tried to be innovative with some of the products' designs compared to other drugstore store brands. I have tested them all out, and here are my final thoughts on them.  Click to Watch "Hot or Not: Maybelline Brow Products 2016" Video Review

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain Review

Image
I just want to say that I am so happy I got these for free. Both of them came with a Revlon ColorStay OverTime Lipcolor . The reason on why I am glad I did not pay full price for them is that these lip products are high maintenance.

Revlon Matte Balms Review

Image
Chubby Sticks are one of my favorite ways to apply lip color, and Revlon's Matte Balms were able to satisfy my expectations when it came to quality and convenience.  These definitely remind me of Tarte's LipSurgence Matte Lip Tints . They have the same slick texture,  the same minty scent, and the same great pigmentation. However, the Revlon's Matte Balms are $9.79 compared to the $24.00 price mark of Tarte's lip tints. So if you are looking for a LipSurgence dupe, here it is. The two colors that I bought are #220, Showy Flamboyante (a Hot Pink Matte) and #205, Elusive Insaisssable (a Nude Muave Pink Matte). What I like about these balms besides easy application is that these are true mattes! It glides on like a slick cream, but it dries instantly to a matte without the product feeling dry. I also like that it is pigmented and it does not bleed out of my lip line, so I can get away with wearing this without a lipliner. RELATED POST: Revlo...

1st Impressions Tutorial using (New) Revlon Makeup 2016

Image
Not too long ago I shared with you a makeup haul of all the new Revlon Makeup that came out recently and I thought why not film myself trying a lot of these products out for the very first time.

Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner Review

Image
I have been noticing a lot of skincare and lip care products have been coming out with "Rose" as their main star ingredient. I know "Rose" is no stranger to the beauty world, but like all trends, they come and go, and then come back again. It seems that "Rose" is having a comeback and the Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner is a beautiful example of just that.

Maybelline SuperStay "Better Skin" Concealer Review

Image
I am a huge fan of the "Better Skin" Foundation, so it's not really surprising that I ended up liking the concealer as well (it usually works out that way with me). However, I don't like wearing the two together. Together, they look a bit heavy, but separate, they provide the perfect coverage. The Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer is a "2-in-1 targeted concealer + corrector with Actyl-C, which is an ingredient know for its antioxidant benefits. Like its counterpart, the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation , it is suppose to "better" you skin with every use."

What's New in REVLON Cosmetics (2016)

Image
Revlon is usually a brand that I do not pay too much attention to but since I am committed to being an informative beauty blogger, I can not ignore such a huge line at the drugstore. Luckily  +REVLON  has came out with a few interesting new products this year. For example, they decided to create an entire new Mascara line with five different mascaras! They also came out with two large eyeshadow palettes!

Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: "COVEN"

Image
COVEN is a bright, cream lavender with no shimmer or sparkle...however, for some odd reason, Formula X decided not to copy Kat Von D's Lipstick color 100% this time around!

New Favorite "White Polish" (Gel Nail Polish Review)

Image
We all know that white polishes are a headache to work with. Their biggest problem is streakiness...some are worst than others where three coats of polish will not fix the problem. I have noticed that most, if not all, white polishes have some level of streaking problem.  This polish is by no means the exception because the first coat is pretty streaky, but it only needs two coats to get that perfect opaque, solid white color. This polish is from +Wet n Wild  from their new      1 Step Wonder Gel Polish Line called "Flying Colors" .

Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: "POE"

Maybelline Baby Lips "Lip Glosses"

Image
There are 3 finishes in the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Gloss Collection : there are the Shimmers, the Creams, and the Jellies. Of the 3, I have a Shimmer (Lilac Lumi) and a Cream (Taupe With Me) Gloss to share with you. I decided not to pick up a Jelly because I suspected they were mostly clear glosses, so I wasn't very interested in them, but so far I am happy with the two I have purchased. They are relatively affordable ($4.79) compared to what +Maybelline  charges on their usual lip glosses, and this price seems to be the trend with the entire Baby Lips Line.

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm "SPF 25 with Natural Mint & Shea Butter"

Image
Embarrassing fact...I just learned that Jack Black is a Men's Skincare Line, let alone the #1 Men's Skincare Brand. I had a feeling it was a men's line but I never looked into it until I did some research for this blogpost. That shows how awesome it is to be a girl because we can get away with using men products without being questioned.

Hot or Not? Boe Beauty ($2 Makeup)

Image
Sometimes going to a Walgreens or Target or CVS that is out of your way can land you a gold mine of makeup you would have never noticed at your local drugstores. This is what happened when I checked out a Walgreens in the next city the other day.  Introducing a $2.00 Makeup Line from Australia called Boe Beauty . Click to watch: HOT or NOT: Boe Beauty ($2.00 Makeup Line) Video! I was so excited that I picked up a little bit of everything from each category. I noticed that they have mostly lip products, so I have mostly lip products to share with you. However, there are a lot more products than I will be mentioning in today's blogpost.  I also wanted to point out that this is not a permanent brand for Walgreens. Once they are sold out, they are sold out. So here is what I picked up to test out.

Maybelline Master Fix Wear-Boosting Setting Spray Review

Image
Every makeup setting spray that I try, I always compare it to my holy grail " Urban Decay de-slick Makeup Setting Spray ". This spray is amazing. It makes the finish of my makeup look way better and it really keeps my oils in check which in-turn allows my makeup to stay on my skin instead of slicking off. I know that the de-slick is significantly more pricey than the Maybelline Setting Spray but from experience, I have noticed that price does not matter on the quality of a product. So what do I think about the Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray ? Well first off, it definitely does not come close to how amazing the Urban Decay de-slick Setting Spray is but it does prolong the wear of my makeup.

Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolors Review

Image
I had a bad first experience with these types of 2-step lip products ( L'oreal Infallible Pro-Last Lip Color ), so I have been very hesitant in giving them a try again. Now a year has gone by and I came across these on a +REVLON  display, and I picked two up because they each came with a color stay moisture stain gloss. So I figured if I didn't like the ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor , my money wouldn't be wasted.

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara Review

Image
What an interesting brow mascara brush! I have never seen anything like this and just by looking at it without trying it first, I can see this design is going to cause some problems for certain people. This Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara is suppose to provide a natural and even colored finish to your brows with its sculpting gel formula and sculpting Ball Brush.
