Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: "COVEN"

COVEN is a bright, cream lavender with no shimmer or sparkle...however, for some odd reason, Formula X decided not to copy Kat Von D's Lipstick color 100% this time around!

The nail polish does have that bright lavender color, but Formula X also added some very fine duo-chrome shimmer in the polish. Looking at the color in the bottle you can clearly see the shimmer but on the nails it is less noticeable. I am actually glad that Formula X decided to add a bit of zest to the color because Coven is quite a common color...well, not in lipstick form but it definitely common in nail polish form. So I can see why Formula X did what they did. 


As a lipstick, it is definitely a loud color. It is definitely for someone that is eccentric and loves to make a statement with their makeup. It is way out of my comfort zone, but the lipstick's formula is creamy and glides on the lips effortlessly. 

The Nailpolish is equally in great quality. It applies to the nails perfectly in two quick coats and dries within 20 minutes or so. I, of course, prefer this color on the nails versus the lips.
