It's a "BIG SHOT" or is it not? (feat. Maybelline the Colossal BIG SHOT Mascara)

Image
To cover a mascara with a chrome plate of gold is a ballsy move. It is basically claiming this mascara is amazing, is incredible, is the BOMB! Maybelline even hired two big Beauty YouTubers, MannyMUA and MakeupShayla to be the faces of this mascara, and let me say, the commercials were pretty extra.  Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal BIG SHOT Mascara So...it is a BIG SHOT? Or is is not?... for me, of course.

Mattifying & Pore-Minizing?--The Milani Prime Shield Face Primer

Image
Hello fellow makeup lovers! Today, I have a primer from Milani to share with you. I was instantly sold on the "Mattifying & Pore-Minimizing" words written on its packaging. I love the ideas of erasing my pores...I mean who doesn't want smooth looking skin. Those pesky pores just get in the way on our journey to flawless skin! So whenever I see a product that promises to diminish to look of my pores, I am interested! Let's start off with the claims of the Milani Prime Shield Face Primer. This Mattifying & Pore-Minimizing Primer claims to soften the appearance of fine lines, large pores and flaws. It also claims to create a smooth canvas for makeup application while providing a matte finish.  So does it do any of these things?

"The Essential Rose Skin Trio" by Sephora Collection Skincare

Image
Hi everyone, I have been meaning to review this Skin Trio Set from Sephora Collections for a while now, and even though I used up two of these sets already (thank goodness I took photos beforehand), I still believe this set deserves a mention, since I have been planning to talk about Sephora's Skincare Line for a while now. So why not start now.  From Sephora Collection's extensive skincare line, the most popular by far is the "Rose Extract" infused products. In fact, if you look at the variety of products the Rose Extract is included in compared to their other ingredients, such as; Avocado, Green Tea, and Pearl, the Rose Extract ingredient is included in at least seven different products while the others average around three different products.  Today, I am here to share with you this Essential Rose Skin Trio that I purchase around the Holiday Season of 2016, and I want to let you know why the Rose Extract ingredient is one of my favorites in the Sephora Col...

Too Faced Unicorn Tears Lipstick vs. Wet N Wild Unicorn Soul Lipstick

Image
It's Unicorn this, Unicorn that, the Unicorn Craze of 2017! I don't know who started this craze, but I do know that Too Faced Cosmetics' Unicorn Tears Lipstick has been in the fore-front of this trend, and one of the first unicorn products to hit the market.  Recently, Wet N Wild came out with their Unicorn Glow Summer Collection , and in that collection there is a blue lipstick that goes by the name of Unicorn Soul, that strangely reminds me of the Too Faced Unicorn Tears Lipstick.  You know what that means!  FACE OFF! [elf Cosmetics] "Skin Balancing" Mineral Pearls, the Balls of Goodness!

Image
They may look like Dippin' Dots, but these elf Cosmetics' Skin Balancing Mineral Pearls are the skin's best friend. What do they do for the skin you ask? elf Cosmetics Mineral Pearls in Skin Balancing ($8) Well, do you see all those colors? You have your pearly whites, pinks, yellow, blues, and greens...colors that are known to color-correct your skin. Swirl them all together, and you have a powder that can balance out the tones of your skin as you brush it on. It's a bit too good to be true right? Well I thought so too...until I tried it.

[Nuance by Salma Hayek] Natural Definition Tinted Brow Gel, The Game Changer!

Image
I never liked setting my brows with a tinted brow gel on top of another brow product, for example, a brow powder. I usually would use one or the other, because from pass experiences, using more than one brow product to fill and set the brows would create a too full of a look where the brows just start looking bushy. Not a good look for me. Then there is the dilemma of feeling like something is missing on your brows. If I just fill it in with a regular pencil or powder, my brow hairs still stick out like a sore thumb, but if I just use a tinted brow gel, I feel my brows are not filled in well enough. I just can't seem to win in the brow game! Then I discovered the Natural Definition Tinted Brow Gel By Nuance by Salma Hayek , and it was a game changer.
