Holiday DIY: Mini Pinecone Ornaments

Image
For video tutorial, please click here !  There can not be a Christmas Tree without Pinecone Ornaments. So today's post is going to be all about Pinecone Ornaments. Since making these ornaments are a no brainer (just glue ribbon to a pinecone), I thought I should share with you on how I decorated my holiday pinecones this year!  So lets begin!

Holiday DIY: Paper Towel Snowflake Ornaments

Image
(For Video Tutorial, Click here !) This is a great holiday DIY project to do with family and friends. It is inexpensive, and it is most likely you already have the materials to make these laying around the house if you are a crafting lover.

Holiday DIY: Sock Snowman

Image
Arn't these the cutest snowmen ever! When I first saw this on Pinterest last year, I knew that I had to make them sometime for the Winter Season. Somehow I thought that these were going to be hard to make, but to my pleasant surprise it was so easy that a toddler can make one, which makes this DIY a great family project.

DIY: Feathered "WoodStock" Headpiece

Image
Hi everyone! Here is how I created this headpiece for my Hot Pink "Woodstock" Fantasy Look . I was not only inspired by the beautiful pink color but also the name. So what came out of my mind was something bohemian and woodsy. And with that description there are braids and feathers detailing involved.

DIY: Chinese New Year "Paper Fire Cracker" Wall Decor

Image
I first made one of these paper firecracker wall decorations last year but didn't film it. I did, however, filmed another DIY video for Chinese New Year called, " Lucky Liquid Gold ", which makes great gifts for family. Today's DIY is also great to give as a gift, as well as, a great decorative piece for you home. Hang it up amongst your other Chinese Talismans or scrolls, and the outcome is beautiful!

DIY: Valentine's Day "Growing Love" Tissue Paper Heart Flower

Image
What is one of the most common gifts that people give to their significant other or someone that they care about on Valentine's Day, that is not chocolate? The answer is Flowers!  Flowers are sweet and lovely but temporary. So I decided to create a flower that will not only last longer than a bouquet of Roses, but will also symbolize the "Growth of Love" within a relationship.

DIY "Photo Memories" Ornament (Gift for Someone Special)

Image
Happy Holidays everyone! Today I will be sharing with you a gift I made for someone special in my life. One of the greatest things in life is not only the people in your life, but the memories you share with them. So I decided to enclose a few photo memories into a clear ornament as a gift of treasured moments.

DIY Holiday Decor: Halloween to Holiday Tree

Image
I am absolutely in love with the way this tree came out! It is just so beautiful, and it screams "White Christmas". I have it on display right now in my living room with a few tiny presents, white reindeers, and a nutcracker. Everytime I look in that general area, it just brings a smile to my face.

Snow White (DIY) Poison Apple & Red Bow

Image
When you think of Snow White, it's hard not to have the Poison Apple and her Red Bow Headband pop in your head. That and her iconic bob hair style is basically Snow White's trademark look. You can not have one without the other.  Instead of going out to buy an exact replica of the Princess's headband and a plain red apple, I decided to create my own. This way I can put my own twist to it and like a control freak I can decide how I want these two objects to look like.

Chinese New Year Inspired: DIY Lucky Liquid Gold

Happy Chinese New Year! This is a gift that I made for my mom for the Lunar New Year. It has the gift of drink and chocolates all in one, as well as, a touch of the festive new year colors.

DIY: Christmas Candles

Image
I have always wanted to decorate my own Christmas/Holiday candles, and I finally did it and I have to say, I am pretty pleased with how everything turned out. Down below, I will list all the things that I have used with their estimated prices.  Each candle costs less than $15, which speaks a lot, since a candle like this can go up to $15 without the candle holder.
