In the beauty world of YouTube, this new Voluminous mascara from L'oreal is starting quite a buzz! People are raving about it being the new best drugstore mascara, and that it was a dupe for the Too Face Better Than Sex Mascara. So of course, I knew I had to try it out for myself. This L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara retails at $9.99, and it claims to provide the lashes with "voluptuous volume, intense length, and a full lash of feathery, soft lashes".

To cover a mascara with a chrome plate of gold is a ballsy move. It is basically claiming this mascara is amazing, is incredible, is the BOMB! Maybelline even hired two big Beauty YouTubers, MannyMUA and MakeupShayla to be the faces of this mascara, and let me say, the commercials were pretty extra.  Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal BIG SHOT Mascara So...it is a BIG SHOT? Or is is not?... for me, of course.

I think I have found another GEM at the drugstore, and this time, it is a MASCARA! You know how picky I am about mascaras! This is the second mascara I have found so far at that drugstore that does not smudge on me!  This is the newly released 2017,  Covergirl Total Tease Mascara , and I am over the moon with it!

I was a bit nervous about trying out this mascara because I had the worst luck with mascaras that contains any kind of oil, whether it be coconut oil, or other Argan oil mascaras. I haven't seen an oily oil infused mascara yet. The thing about these oil-infused mascaras was that they always smudged terribly on me. I would look like a raccoon within two hours of wear. Two of these mascaras happens to be from Physicians Formula! So you can definitely see why I'm a bit skeptic when it comes to their new Argan Wear Mascara , $9.95.

Lash Extension Kits...where do I begin with this sort of product...well, I did not have a pleasant first experience...but like a true makeup addict, I'm always open to try out a different brand's version, and hope for the best. So today's post is all about Wet N Wild's Lash-O-Matic Lash Extension Kit . Here are the numbers regarding this "Fiber Extension" Lash Kit: -100% said it was easier to apply than false lashes. -93% saw "excellent" volume in their lashes. -93% saw "excellent" length in their lashes.

I like their play on words " MVP " -- Max Volume Plus --, cheesy but cute.  " This mascara is formulated with Macadamia Nut, Jojoba, & Olive Oils for conditioning and enriched with D-Panthenol to help strengthen lashes ."

I applaud Revlon this year because they went all out this 2016 with an entire new line of mascaras.  The Mascaras are all packaged beautifully and each mascara gears towards a different lash need.

Do you know what this mascara reminds me of? The L'oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara. The ouster packaging is shaped similarly, and the wand looks near identical.  However, this is not a comparison video, even though I am itching to compare these two, but I will be good and stay on track, and just give you my thoughts about this Wet N Wild Max Fanatic Cat Eye Mascara .

Update: (5/17/2016) It's been awhile since I uploaded this review, and I have used this mascara a couple times more now, and I have to say my feelings has changed. It seems that this mascara had to be broken into or something, because now this mascara does an incredible job at defining my lashes! Layer this on top of Revlon's Super Length Mascara ,  and the effect is even longer and more defined lashes! I am so happy that I gave this mascara another chance because now I have an incredible combo that I know I will keep using, and these two mascaras will not go to waste! Nothing's worst about a mascara IS when you don't have an opinion about it. Even when you don't like what the mascara does to your lashes or how it wears, at least you can say why you don't like it. With this Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara , it was not dramatic at all, in fact when I applied it on, all I had to say was, "That's it..." 

WOW! I am so pleased with this mascara! I think I found my favorite among Maybelline's mascaras. I already reviewed its crazy sister, the Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara , not too long ago. I would like to describe the Original Lash Sensational Mascara to be the perfect sister.  This mascara is not too scary but it is not too timid on the lashes either. It is just perfect.

The first time I tried this mascara I did not like it. It didn't give my lashes the push up effect I was expecting or even any length. The second or third time it was not that impressive either, and it flaked after three hours of wear. But then strangely enough the fourth time I tried it, the application went on beautifully and my lashes looked amazing, pushed-up and individually lengthened. So I am left quite confused on how I feel about this mascara.

Do you know what this mascara reminds me off? It reminds me of the  L'oreal Miss Manga The Rock Mascara , because they both give you hardcore, voluminzing clumps of lashes. Now I understand that not everyone is into the spider lashes, but if you are, than you might like this mascara, because I find the  Maybelline Lash Sensational "Luscious" Mascara  to be more smudge-proof than the L'oreal one.

So I put another one of Revlon's New Revolution Mascaras to the test. From the five mascaras, I have tried and reviewed so far are the (Red) Ultimate All-in-On Mascara , the (Blue) Volume + Length Magnified Mascara , and the (Green) Super Length Mascara .  This (Pink) Ultra Volume Mascara is my favorite from the four I have already tried. The reason behind that is that it gives my lashes the perfect amount of volume without clumping them together, so my lash line actually looks fuller in a natural way.

Introducing another one of the five new Revlon Revolution Mascaras and this one is dedicated to lengthening the lashes. The Revlon Super Length Mascara comes in two versions (regular & waterproof). The one I'm reviewing today is the waterproof one and just like the Volume + Length Magnified Mascara, this is a sad excuse for a waterproof mascara because it smudges after a few hours of wear. However, this is my first time trying a "Lengthening" Mascara. Up until now, I have only tried Lengthening + Volumnizing Mascaras or do-it-all kind of Mascaras, like the Revlon Ultimate All-In-One . I thought with my thin lashes, I always needed a mascara that will give me volume. I never knew that a plain lengthening mascara can make such a difference to the look of my eyes.

This is the 2nd mascara of the five new mascaras  +Revlon   has come out with this year. This blue top mascara is geared towards "Voluminizg and Lengthing" the Lashes...a 2-in-1, but it does do one more thing that I quite enjoy and that is, it also separated my lashes while giving them volume and length. 

Introducing the first of five of Revlon's new Revolution Mascaras of 2016. This is the Revlon "Ultimate All-in-One" Mascara . This mascara claims to have five lash benefits that includes: Volume, Length, Definition, Lift, & Rich, Intense Color.

Yes, I know this is a "Mini" size of the actual mascara, but from experience I noticed that everything is the same (the formula & the brush size), the only difference is the amount of product you get. So it's safe to say that I am using the MegaPlump Mascara, it's just in cute miniature size, which makes it even better because it is cute. 

Here is L'oreal's newest addition to their amazing, fantastic, awesome, incredible Voluminous Line. Can you tell I am a fan? But really, I was so excited when I saw their new display at my local CVS store, and immediately picked it up...once it was on sale of course!  I have put these to the test a couple times in the last two weeks and the results are...let's just say I expected more from the Voluminous Line.

According to L'oreal Paris, their New Voluminous Superstar Mascara is "L'oreal's  first Primer and Mascara for a show-stopping lash effect. Super-volumizing primer builds dramatic volume on every lash and creates an ultra smooth base to maximize mascara impact. Fiber-rich mascara extends lashes to the extreme." I of course bought this on sale, but this mascara retails at $10.99. It is a duo-ended mascara, where one end is the primer and the other end is the mascara.
