Beautifully Luminous but Matte Skin in a Primer

Image
I fell in love with this silky primer the very first time I tried it, and it wasn't a fluke either, I liked it just as much the second time I used it, and the third time, and every other time. This elf Beautifully Bare Luminous Matte Makeup Primer gives your skin a beautiful, luminous look without the shine, if that is possible.

[elf Cosmetics] "Skin Balancing" Mineral Pearls, the Balls of Goodness!

Image
They may look like Dippin' Dots, but these elf Cosmetics' Skin Balancing Mineral Pearls are the skin's best friend. What do they do for the skin you ask? elf Cosmetics Mineral Pearls in Skin Balancing ($8) Well, do you see all those colors? You have your pearly whites, pinks, yellow, blues, and greens...colors that are known to color-correct your skin. Swirl them all together, and you have a powder that can balance out the tones of your skin as you brush it on. It's a bit too good to be true right? Well I thought so too...until I tried it.

[elf Cosmetics] Clay Eyeshadow Palette in "Necessary Nudes"

Image
I recently got this elf Cosmetics Clay Eyeshadow quint in a beauty bundle. If you don't know elf sells beauty bundles , I highly recommend you taking a look because a few on them are nicely priced with cute themes, (they are also sold in limited quantities). Anyways, I was excited to finally be able to test out a "clay" eyeshadow palette, because you've guessed it, it has clay in it, and the word "clay" intrigued me.

[elf Cosmetics] Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder "Turks & Caicos"

Image
"Turks & Caicos" has been a long beloved blush and bronzer duo among elf cosmetics lovers. I had always admired it, but never purchased because I thought the colors were too deep for my light/medium skintone. If it weren't for the Sugar & Spice Beauty Bundle I bought recently, I would have never tried it. This is one of the few times in my life that I am happy I was proven wrong.

[elf Cosmetics] Studio Mineral Face Primer

Image
This line has long been repackaged, but the idea and function of these elf Cosmetics Mineral Face Primers are the same. They provide your face with a silky layer that smooths your skin, and a few will help with the evenness of your complexion.

[e.l.f Cosmetics] Prime and Stay Finishing Powder Review

Image
This powder compact is a 2-in-1, a primer and finishing powder from the awesome e.l.f Cosmetics. I love the clear, plastic compact packaging, and the product that's inside is beautiful, high quality and it feels amazing on the skin. And guess what? This Prime and Stay Finishing Powder only retails at $2.00.

[e.l.f Cosmetics] Hydrating Water Cleansing Cloths Review

Image
I have always been a fan of e.l.f's Makeup Remover Cleansing Clothes ($3.00/ 20 Cloths). So when e.l.f came out with a new version of cleansing clothes for their new skincare line, I was excited to try them.  To be perfectly honest, these Hydrating Water Cleansing Cloths work exactly the same as the original Makeup Remover Cleansing Clothes. The only difference is that the Hydrating Clothes contain more skin-loving ingredients such as, Vitamins B & E, and it is also soaked with purified water. However, on the skin, I can not differentiate the difference between the two. They both hydrate the skin, they both feel smooth and soft on the skin, and they both take off makeup the same.

[elf Cosmetics] Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadows

Image
These elf Cosmetics Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadows  are one of my favorite products from the elf line. They are easy to work with, pigmented, and extremely long-lasting. The crazy part is that these are only $3.00 each, and each pot will seriously last you a life time.

[elf Cosmetics] Studio Flawless Finish Foundation

Image
If you have not tried elf's Studio Flawless Finish Foundation , please do! I am kicking myself on not trying this foundation sooner, especially since it is one of elf's original products that they have first came out with back in the haydays.

[elf Cosmetics] Tone Correcting Powder

Image
Four cool-tone, color-correcting pressed powders; compacted in a sleek, black rectangular casing for just $4.00. I do not know how elf cosmetics keeps their prices so affordable and still able to produce high quality products! This Tone Correcting Powder consist of finely milled powder with four cool-tone pastel colors, blue, yellow, brown and pink. For those that do not know what each color does, the blue neutralizes orange, the brown gives the skin color, the salmon-tan neutralizes grey, and the yellow brightens the skin. The one I have is an old version. The new version has pink and green colors in it. You can use each color individually if you so choose to, but I like to mix them all up and apply it straight to the face with a fluffy powder brush.

[Elf Cosmetics] e.l.f Blushes ($3.00)

Image
These e.l.f Blushes are part of the OGs of e.l.f Cosmetics. Back then, they used to be the e.l.f Studio Blushes, until e.l.f decided to not have segmented lines, but a whole e.l.f makeup line. So they combined their essential line, studio line, and a few products from their mineral line into one. However, they had recently come out with their Beautifully Bare line, Aqua Beauty, and Beautifully Precise Collection as well. Anyways back to these blushes. Even though they have been around for ages, I still have not reviewed these blushes on my blog! The horror! Well, better late than never right?

Lip Stains: e.l.f Essential Lip Stains Review

Image
I like the idea of a lip stain because you get a nice, new lip color without the color-transfer on everything your lips get in contact with. So the idea of these e.l.f Essential Lip Stains being only $2.00 a piece, if it works great then I have found a score of a lifetime. However, these are the perfect example of the saying, "You get what you pay for."

Mascaras: e.l.f Beautifully Bare "Lash Tint" Mascara Review

Image
I am obsessed! I don't know why I haven't tried lash tints before but thank goodness e.l.f came out with one because I am in love!

Blushes: e.l.f Studio Blush Palettes Review

Image
Oh geez, I had these beauties laying around for months now and I am now getting around to reviewing them. This is a prime example of a makeup hoarder. I did do a haul introducing these babies back in the beginning of June of this year...so it's been about two or so months since I bought these palettes!

Brushes: e.l.f Beautifully Bare "Blending Brush"

Image
This is my new favorite brush for Bronzers.  It has the perfect shape to blend and sculpt the face!

Foundations: e.l.f "Beautifully Bare" Foundation Serum Review

Image
e.l.f has a new line called "Beautifully Bare", where the concept is the ever popular theme of having that natural look while still wearing makeup.  This Foundation Serum is one of the few products that are currently available in this line. It comes with 0.47 fl oz, priced at $8.00 and there are three colors to choose from at the moment, but I am sure that there will be more soon.  I have used this nearly everyday for two or so weeks now, and I can honestly say that I am really enjoying this foundation serum!

BB Creams: e.l.f Studio BB Cream Review

Image
e.l.f's BB Cream is one of the heaviest coverage BB Creams I had ever tried. The product is thick and creamy, and can easily pass for a foundation. Even with the heavy consistency, it still blends into the skin beautifully.  RELATED POST:  BB Cream: Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C BB Cream SPF 20 It is a bit on the oilier end, so it is perfect for those with dry skin. Unfortunately I have oily combination skin, so I do need to set this with a powder, and even then I would need to blot my face with a blotting paper half-way through the day. Even so, I do enjoy how this product looks on my skin. The coverage is beautiful, dewy and not heavy.
