Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks Review

These lipsticks are the classics of the drugstore. Did you know that they have been around for over 70 years, but don't worry, mine are not that old! Even after all these years and so many brands have come out with their own version of lipsticks, these Super Lustrous Lipsticks still has one of the best formulas at the drugstore.

There are four finishes within this line: Creme, Matte, Pearl, and Sheer, and as of right now, this collection consist of 82 different shades, but more keep coming out, as they should.

Of the 82 shades, I have 9 in my collection. Here are the swatches of each one.

My favorite finish is the Pearl because it gives the lips a beautiful sheer wash of color, and the shimmers are faint and wearable. However, if you are looking for a solid color, the cremes are right in your alley. I admit their mattes need a bit of work, but what they have in their collection of mattes are not bad. I haven't tried any of their sheer lipsticks yet, but I am sure it is similar to the pearls, just without the shimmer.

Overall, the lipsticks are hydrating and the color lasts on your lips for a decent amount of time. They are not the most long-wearing lipsticks, but they are comfortable to wear with beautiful colors. There is nothing fancy about their formula, their packaging, or even their claims. These lipsticks are just good, classic lipsticks.
