Pur Cosmetics Quick Pro Portables Holiday Collection Review

Hello everyone! Christmas is only a few days away, so I know that this is very last minute, but I really wanted to share with these mini palettes from Pur Cosmetics with you. I think they are super cute, and would make the perfect stocking stuffers for the travelers in the family!

 These are the Pur Cosmetics Quick Pro Holiday Portables! I bought two of the three mini-sets they have available, and had been having the best time playing around with these. Each palette is no larger than a credit card, and they are super sleek and thin! These will take up absolutely no room in your makeup bag!

 Each set comes with two palettes and retails at $14.00 with the value of $36.00. So let’s take a closer look at each set.

First, we have the lipstick and eyeshadow palettes. This is the Portables Day Dream On-the-Go Lipstick & Eyeshadow Palette pair. There is also a Night Fantasy version.

 The eyeshadow colors are nothing too unique. They are colors that will create your typical, safe everyday eye looks. Which is basically what the average traveler needs. The formula of the shadows is soft and blend able. They are definitely fool-proof with how easy they are to work with.

 Just like the eyeshadow palette, the lipstick palette comes with eight different colors. And these lipsticks are creamy. It makes the products easy to spread on your lips, but they also do not last very long. I also wish this palette came with a tiny lip brush, because there is no other way to apply these colors neatly, especially with the darker colors.

The other set comes with a sculpting palette and a highlight palette. This set is called the Portables Sculpt & Glow On-The-Go Contour& Highlight Palette pair. Each palette comes with three different shades.

 The Contour Palette did not work for me. None of the colors worked with my skin tone. Even the lightest shade makes my skin look muddy. So I think this palette is going to be an eyeshadow palette for me instead. Even though the colors didn’t work out, these powders are still very soft and easy to blend. So the quality is good…just not the color range.

Luckily, I had more luck with the highlight palette. These highlights are so pretty! They blended beautiful into the skin, and gave me a wonderful glow.

What set these palettes apart from other palettes is their size. They are perfectly compacted, perfectly shaped, and the quality of the packaging is nice.  Yes, the colors of the products themselves are not unique, but when traveling, we usually don’t care too much about the uniqueness of our makeup, but more on the convenience and quickness of our makeup application, which is just what these palette are.
