A Gold Bar Worth of Contour & Highlighting!

It looks like it's cased in a gold bar, and it might as well be since this Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Highlight & Contour Palette is simply golden!

This palette retails at $14.95, and Physicians Formula claims, it will "define your features & enhance your glow with its universally-flattering shades that are blendable and buildable". It also come in two different shades...a matte and a shimmer. The one I will be reviewing today is the matte version.

I do not know if these shades are universally pleasing on every skintone, but it did work for my skintone, I am a light-medium neutral. These powders are indeed super blendable and build able. 

You will find that the contour shade will need building up because it is so light, however, its cool-tone color is great at hollowing out the cheek area. The Bronzer is the opposite of the contour. Where the contour needs building up, the bronzer needs to be applied with a light hand because it is so pigmented. The Highlight happens to be perfect, and has the best consistency out the three powders. 

The overall look this palette creates is a soft, natural carved look to the face. I love the fact that this palette is matte. There is an easy, effortless subtleness to the face without the need for shimmer and shine. Sometimes a classic basic face is all we need to make a statement.
