Brushes: MUA (Makeup Academy) Pro BB/CC Cream Brush Review

Image
This is an $18.00 face brush from CVS ...$18.00! I swear, prices just keep going up with these new brands! Makeup Academy (MUA) is actually a company from England, and they are known to be extremely affordable, like e.l.f (eyeslipsface) prices and recently, they teamed up with CVS and created an entire line sold exclusively to CVS drugstores. So you will not be finding this brand at Target or Walgreens. RELATED BLOGPOST: MUA "Extreme Shimmer" Lipsticks Review For the most the MUA line (which consist of lip products, eyelashes, and brushes), prices are pretty reasonable, around $5.00-$10.00. So for this brush being a whopping $18.00, my expectations of this brush was up there.

I have a feeling that production of new "Nude Palettes" are not going slow down anytime soon and to be perfectly honest, I'm not mad about it, and I know for a fact I will keep buying them, even though I have enough to last me five lifetimes...I can't help it, I'm addicted! And here is my newest "Nude Palette" to add to my collection! The Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette, priced at $46.00 and can only be found at Sephora ( online and in-stores).

Foundations: Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation and Powder Review

Another new Matte Foundation and Powder for 2015! I'm not complaining, because I love a Matte look, and I am not complaining about Maybelline's take in their Matte line. I am also loving the fact that they decided to add this in their Fit Me! Line, which means more color selections, and that means a greater chance of finding a shade that fits your skintone! Right on the packaging it states that it is a "Matte" and "Pore-less" product. Two magical words that most of us, especially the oily-skin types, want from a foundation and a powder. "Matte" to keep us from looking shiny and helps control our oils, and "Pore-less" to give us a flawless complexion. Now who does not want that?

Bath Products: Bath & Body Works: "Beautiful Day" Signature Scent

Image
This is seriously "THE" perfect Spring Scent.  It is a beautiful combination of Fruit and Floral scents with Top Notes of Sun-kissed Apples, Dewy Pears, and Sparkling Cassis.  I have noticed that I am drawn to fragrances with the scent of Apples and Pears in them. There are something refreshing about the smell apples and pears, and it is also not too sweet. The fact that Beautiful Day has both of these scents in them makes it one of my favorite fragrances of all time (in Bath&Body Works Charts). I actually bought this on a whim when I was at the Bath&Body Works store, restocking on their hand sanitizers (they are amazing). Since I also had a coupon, I thought why not try a new Signature Fragrance. To be honest, the packaging was what drew me in. The Cover of the Box, Isn't it Beautiful!? The beautiful, brightly colored box called out my name, and who doesn't need a pretty box in their life? Luckily the scent was also heavenly nice. (Her
