Covergirl TruBLEND Liquid Foundation Review

Image
Less is more with this foundation. In my "First Impression Tutorial", I complained that the foundation took a long time to blend. However, that was completely my fault because I actually used too much. Apparently a little goes a long way with this foundation without compromising the coverage it gives the skin.

Korres Kiwi Gentle Exfoliating Scrub Review

Image
I bought this Kiwi Gentle Exfoliating Scrub by KORRES Modern Greek Apothecary on clearance at Sephora. Now I know why KORRES has decided to discontinue this product...it is because it is not a very good face scrub. I'm pretty sure you are wondering why I am still bothering to review an item that you can not get anymore. Well my beauty lovers, it's because I am planning on trying out more KORRES Exfoliating Scrubs in the future, and I would like to have old reviews to look back upon and compare them. So now that I have given you my excuse on why I am reviewing a discontinued product, let's talk about the product.

Covergirl TruBLEND Face Primer Review

Image
Since I have oily-combination skin, I bought the combo primer, but if you have oily or dry skin, don't worry, Covergirl TruBLEND Primer has a primer for that too.

Covergirl TruBLEND Blushes Review

Image
I was pleasantly surprised by these blushes. These are Covergirl's newest blushes, TruBLEND Blushes . It comes in three different color, each gears towards a different skintone; light skin tones (Light Rose #100), medium skin tones (Medium Rose #200), and deep skin tones (Deep Mauve #300).

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks Review

Image
These lipsticks are the classics of the drugstore. Did you know that they have been around for over 70 years, but don't worry, mine are not that old! Even after all these years and so many brands have come out with their own version of lipsticks, these Super Lustrous Lipsticks still has one of the best formulas at the drugstore.

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear ABC Cushion Foundation SPF 50

Image
Physicians Formula is at it again with their beautiful packaging. Doesn't this look like something a mermaid would have in her makeup collection? It is simple stunning!

Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel Review

Image
I have been using this eye gel for the past six or seven months. I do not own the full size which contains 1.0 oz, but rather two travel sizes of 0.25 oz, and I just started using my second jar, so you see a little bit of this goes a long, long way.

Wet N Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette in "Caramel Toffee" Review

Image
This palette is humongous. My fingers could hardly wrap around it! However, even though it has a large circumference, this palette is actually quite thin. So you are still getting your average amount of highlight powder and bronzer powder that you usually get from a Wet N Wild product, but I do appreciate the size. The size allows me to use any size brush without accidentally mixing the two powders. These are so different from each other (color-wise), and they both have a different use, so it is great that they will not be mixing together no matter how messy I dip in my brush.

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Review

Image
There is a tassel! A Tassel! Have you ever seen an eyeliner with a tassel before? I haven't, and that is why I bought this Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Kohl Kajal Eyeliner even though I have never enjoyed Physicians Formula Kohl Kajal Eyeliners in the past. I have bought two sets of trios from their Shimmer Strips line, and they were not lasting and they smudged as if it was pouring out that day. But this liner is from their Argan Wear line, so I figured the formula  would be different. And boy was it different!

Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher Review

Image
This is my still my favorite go-to makeup finisher. I had this pressed powder for years, and have created a beautiful dip in it which is actually rare for me since I have enough makeup for 30 women. It's a bit excessive, but it's one of my weaknesses, so I don't regret having more makeup than a person needs. Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher, $13.99. Now back to this powder. This is beautiful.

What's New in Covergirl? (2016)

Image
Covergirl is actually the first makeup brand I have ever used! So this haul is very nostalgic for me since I haven't used much Covergirl since High School.

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Concealer SPF 30 Review

Image
I have never tried a BB Concealer before, but I have tried many BB Creams, and I used to be obsessed with them about two years ago. So what my expectations were for this Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Concealer was to be like a BB Cream; light-coverage with the texture and hydration of a lotion. Was I right?
