Origami: Simple Strawberry Instructions

This little strawberry is so cute, just probably one of the simplest origami there is to fold. When I followed the instructions, and once I had completed it, I was really surprised at how simple it really is. So for those of you that are starting out, here is an origami for you! It's fast, it's simple, and it actually looks like a strawberry, well, a one-dimensional strawberry, but it is recognizably a strawberry.

So let's start with the instructions!

Start by making a preliminary base.
Where the base folds open, have that part facing you, as the picture is shown.

Fold a corner towards the inside slightly slated, but not all the way to the middle.

Fold the other side, and try to make it identical to the first fold.

Do the same thing to the other side.

Turn place the origami of the clean side.

Now the bottom corner, fold it up.

There are going to be three loose folds.

The middle loose fold has two pockets.

Open up the pocket, and flatten it out to make a square.

You should have something like this.

Since the origami paper I used is not a double-sided paper, I just used a dark green marker to color the leafy parts green.

Add the seeds as well.

And you have your simple Strawberry.

Isn't that easy enough! Happy Wandering Creatively! Alice
