This mascara was actually pretty tough to find, but I finally found it! SCORE!  But was it worth the trouble looking for it every time I hit up a CVS or Target?  The answer it...NO. And here is why.

Toners: Lumene "Bright Touch Refreshing Toner" Review

Image
I never gave a hoot about face toners before. I never thought it would make a difference to my skin until I researched more about it. Toners happen to be one of the most important steps in a skincare regime. It removes whatever dirt or oils left on the skin that cleansers don't take off, and in return minimizes the appearance of pores. It also rebalances the pH levels of the skin, which is extremely important for those that have acne prone skin. It is also a great skin refresher. So the toner I have been using of late is the Lumene " Bright Touch Refreshing Toner " for Normal/Combination Skin. I use it every night after I cleanse my face and I have been really enjoying it.

Ole Henriksen's 3 Little Wonders consists of: (1) The Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster , (2) The Invigorating Night Treatment Gel , and (3) The Sheer Transformation Moisturizer . "These 3 multitasks work in synergy to brighten, resurface, and hydrate using the most potent untagging powerhouses: Vitamin C, Essential Fatty Acids, & Alpha Hydroxy Acids-- the 3 pillar ingredients of Ole's Skincare."                                                                                                   --Ole Henriksen--

Brushes: MUA (Makeup Academy) Pro BB/CC Cream Brush Review

Image
This is an $18.00 face brush from CVS ...$18.00! I swear, prices just keep going up with these new brands! Makeup Academy (MUA) is actually a company from England, and they are known to be extremely affordable, like e.l.f (eyeslipsface) prices and recently, they teamed up with CVS and created an entire line sold exclusively to CVS drugstores. So you will not be finding this brand at Target or Walgreens. RELATED BLOGPOST: MUA "Extreme Shimmer" Lipsticks Review For the most the MUA line (which consist of lip products, eyelashes, and brushes), prices are pretty reasonable, around $5.00-$10.00. So for this brush being a whopping $18.00, my expectations of this brush was up there.
