Rimmel: Magnif'eyes Double Ended Shadow + Kohl Kajal Liner Review

These are quite exquisite duo eyeshadow and kohl liners. I am impressed. From my past experience with duo pencils like these, they are usually poor quality. The eyeshadows are not impressive and the liners are too soft and smudges like crazy.

These Rimmel Magnif'eyes Double Ended Shadows + Liners are not like anything I have tried so far. The liner part of the duo is easy to apply, but they do smudge after a few hours of wear, so they are not the longest lasting the it comes to kohl kajal liners. What I am impressed with the most is the gel-cream eyeshadow on the other end. The eyeshadow's texture is soft and silky. It dries quickly, so you need to blend it as soon as possible. However, once it sets it will not budge and it will stay true to color until you take it off with makeup remover.

There are five colors to choose from in this line. Out of the five, here are the two that I bought. The colors are opaque and each pencil can create a beautiful look without the need for other products.

My favorite color of the two is the Queen of the Bronzed Age. The liner makes a beautiful inner-color highlight because it has the perfect champagne sparkle. It is a bit shimmery, so if you are not into the shine-fest, you may not like this. The bronze gel-cream shadow can be blended out into a gorgeous soft, reddish-brown sheen, and if you don't blend it, the color is a, opaque bronze-metallic color. Together, they make a very pretty smoldering eye look.

The Back on Blacks has a pretty black shadow with silver sparkle in it, and the liner is your usual cream black kohl liner. You can create a deep and dark smoky eye look, but the colors are a bit underwhelming.
