[Garnier Skincare] Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream (Oil Free)

Image
Okay guys, I do not know what is wrong with me...or maybe it's that time where brands want to repackage all their products. Lumene recently did it, Ole Henriksen did it this year, and now I am finding that Garnier did it too...well I never!  Why I am bringing this up is because, like the last post, this post, on the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream , no longer looks or is called the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream. It is now known as the 5-in-1 Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream . It has   similar packaging as the one I am sharing with you today. They both do the same thing with the same five claims, which are: 1) Controls Shine, 2) Minimizes Pores, 3) Evens Skin Tone, 4) Hydrates, and 5) Protects with SPF 20. Technically, this BB Cream just got an upgraded look. The real question is, how do I feel about this BB Cream? And this is an amazing BB Cream! The coverage is light, but build able, with a natural finish. What I like a...

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Concealer SPF 30 Review

Image
I have never tried a BB Concealer before, but I have tried many BB Creams, and I used to be obsessed with them about two years ago. So what my expectations were for this Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Concealer was to be like a BB Cream; light-coverage with the texture and hydration of a lotion. Was I right?

Review: Nuance by Salma Hayek "Renewed Radiance Brightening BB Cream, SPF 30"

Image
I love Salma Hayek as an actress, but boy, I do not like her Renewed Radiance Brightening BB Cream.  What a bummer.  For those that do not know, Actress Salma Hayak has an entire beauty line (makeup and skincare), exclusive to CVS, called "Nuance" by Salma Hayak, inspired by her Grandmother. To be honest, I have seen this brand at CVS for years and always walked by it. (It also doesn't help "Nuance" is located right next to L'oreal Paris at my local CVS.) So when I was on a hunt to try out more drugstore BB creams, I decided to give this one a try. Salma's BB Cream is located with all her skincare products in the skincare aisle and retails around $15.00 for 1.0 fl oz of product.

Review: Physicians Formula Organic Wear BB Cream & BB Mascara

Image
Recently, Physicians Formula has expanded their Organic Wear Line with two new products, and to my delight, they added "BB" products! They added a new 100% Natural Origin All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream and a 100% Natural Origin BB Bigger! Better! Lashes Mascara. They both came in the Iconic Organic Wear packaging of a leaf design and the packaging is a nice, clean white. The products themselves look beautiful and promising, and I was expecting to immediately fall in love with them. Unfortunately, they did not live up to the hype that I built in my head about them and they did not live up to the hype that Physicians Formula have claimed them to be. Review: Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil BB Cream SPF 30

Image
I just want to state the obvious before we get into the important details here...the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! Physicians Formula had really captured the essence of Morocco's Style-Architectural design with their new Argan Wear Line, especially with their BB Cream's packaging.  And the fact that the product not only looks good on the outside but it does good on the inside. This BB Cream is one of the best BB Creams I have tried thus far. The unique difference between this Physicians Formula's BB Cream compared to other BB Creams I have tried is that this does not have a dewy finish. In fact, its finish is a beautiful matte-satin. Something an oily-combinaton skin person, like myself, can appreciate.

BB Creams: e.l.f Studio BB Cream Review

Image
e.l.f's BB Cream is one of the heaviest coverage BB Creams I had ever tried. The product is thick and creamy, and can easily pass for a foundation. Even with the heavy consistency, it still blends into the skin beautifully.  RELATED POST:  BB Cream: Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C BB Cream SPF 20 It is a bit on the oilier end, so it is perfect for those with dry skin. Unfortunately I have oily combination skin, so I do need to set this with a powder, and even then I would need to blot my face with a blotting paper half-way through the day. Even so, I do enjoy how this product looks on my skin. The coverage is beautiful, dewy and not heavy.
