[elf Cosmetics] Studio Mineral Face Primer

This line has long been repackaged, but the idea and function of these elf Cosmetics Mineral Face Primers are the same. They provide your face with a silky layer that smooths your skin, and a few will help with the evenness of your complexion.

You can purchase the regular clear version, the one that only primes your face, or you can choose the other three that offers color-correcting colors; brightening lavender (it brightens up dull skin), Tone Adjusting Green (it minimizes redness and blotchy skin), and Radiant Glow (it gives the skin a luminous glow, and it also contains Shimmer).

Of the three I have the Clear, the Radiant Glow, and the Brightening Lavender.

Of the three, I use the Lavender the most. It really does brighten up your complexion, as well as give the skin a soft, velvet matte finish. The texture is very silky, but since it has silica as an ingredient, the silky texture is expected. The clear is also a great primer. The Radiant Glow Primer is something I never use. There is just too much shimmer where it leaves your skin with millions of golden sparkles that does not look natural at all. Then again, it may just be that the gold shimmer does not look good on my skintone, because it looked great on my friend's skintone that is much deeper than mine. Just something to keep in mind.
These are good primers. They work and they retail at $6.00 a bottle.

Happy Wandering, Alice.
