The Master Blush & Highlight Makeup Kit by Maybelline

Hi everyone! Have you tried this blush and highlight palette from Maybelline yet? It is by all no means new to the drugstore beauty scene. I believe I bought my palette about half a year ago...it could be longer, but I didn't review it, and that is be a total waste not to because this is such an excellent palette!

Ladies and gentleman, I introduced to you, the Maybelline Facestudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Makeup Kit. It retails at $12.99, for three pigmented blushes and a very glowy highlighter!

If you are looking for a matte blush, this is not the palette for you. All the powders have some degree of shimmer to them. The two blushes in the middle, which is a soft coral pink and an orchid pink have a natural shimmer sheen, while the champagne highlight has more of a prominent shimmer sheen, and the deep berry blush has larger specks of shimmer in the blush, but don't worry, it doesn't show up too much on the skin.

Here are the swatches for you all.

You can mix and match these colors. You can layer on the blushes to create a deeper dimension on the cheeks. There is just so many different varieties of colors you can create, and the cool thing is, is that there is a blush for every skin tones. There is a perfect blush shade for light skin tones, a perfect blush shade for medium skin tones, and a perfect blush shade for deeper skin tones, one for all three spectrums, which I find wonderful!

I do have to warn you that these blushes can apply a bit too pigmented, so use a light hand. Luckily, they are easy to blend, but when you apply too much, it's going to be too much no matter how much you try to blend it out. If you do happen to put too much product on, just dust some setting powder on top, it should mellow out the color.

I do wish they can stay vibrant for at least 8 hrs, but they do tend to start fading after a few hours. So be aware that these are not the longest lasting blushes out there.
