Eyeshadow Palette: Urban Decay "Naked" Eyeshadow Palette

Geez, I have never realized how beautiful the packaging was until now, when I have it in my hands and can call this palette mine. I don't know why I didn't buy it the moment it became available, (it was cheaper then too, $48.00) but I am glad that I have it now.

This is a beautiful palette, and it should be since it is Urban Decay's first Naked Baby. It has the mixture of warm bronze neutrals to a few smokey, toasty shades to create a sweet day look to a smoldering night look.

The palette comes with 12 shadows, beautiful shadows, and Urban Decay's Good Karma Double-Ended Shadow Brush. When the Naked Original first came out, the palette came with a regular, single ended brush but now it comes with the Good Karma Brush, like every one of the Naked Palettes.

Here are swatches of each color, as well as, a description of each color (taken from the Urban Decay Website).

(Left to Right)
Virgin (Nude Satin), Sin (Champagne Shimmer), Naked (Buff Matte), Sidecar (Beige Sparkle)

(Left to Right)
Buck (Brown Matte), Half Baked (Bronze), Smog (Golden Brown Shimmer), Dark House (Bronze-Plum Shimmer)

(Left to Right)
Toasted (Taupe-Bronze), Hustle (Mocha Shimmer), Creep (Near-Black Metallic), Gunmetal (Dark Grey Metallic)

The only shadow that is less-than stellar is the soft black shadow (creep). It's a bit streaky upon application but the rest of the shadows are beautiful, especially the shimmers, who has a beautiful, buttery texture with amazing pigmentation.

The packaging itself feels velvety and luxurious, nothing less than excellent for these wonderful shadows. I can't wait to start playing with this palette, and hopefully come up with some looks to share with you all. The colors I am most excited to play with are: Virgin, Sidecar, and Gunmetal.

What do you like most about the Original Naked Palette? Happy Wandering, Alice
