Tutorial: Kat Von D "Innerstellar" Silver Moon Eye Look
This is a perfect look for the New Year Celebration to come. It's bright, metallic and eye catching, but still mellow enough for those that enjoy looks more on the subtle-side throughout the year.
This look is created by using Kat Von D's New Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette called "Innerstellar". You can find this palette at Sephora, at $46.00. You can find my full review of this palette here, but in this post, I will be sharing with you on how I achieved this eye look, and which products I used.
Step-by-step instructions:
(* is what product I used*)
Step #1: Apply primer all over the lids.
Step #2: With a blending brush, apply Orion (Matte Chocolate Brown)
Step #3: With a damp, eyeshadow brush, pat on Moonshine (Metallic Silver) & Inner corners
Step #4: With a precision brush, line and smoke out the line with Killing Moon (matte black) & lower lash line
Step #5: Apply Lycan (matte cream) to the brow bone
Step #6: Line the eyes with a black liquid liner.
*Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner*
Step #7: Using your finger, dust Graviton (soft pink iridescent) on the lid.
Step #8: Curl the lashes and apply Mascara
Step #9: Apply False lashes
*Urban Decay Urban Lashes in Sly*
Don't forget to blend the eyeshadow as you add each new shadow, and do not be shy about adding more shadow to the lids when needed. Just take your time and have some fun! You can always wash off any mistakes. Remember, practice makes perfect!
