Are you a Saint or a Sinner?

Image
Hi everyone! Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's crowd favorites,  Saint and Sinner perfumes . These fragrances debuted years ago, and Kat Von D brought them back due to popular demand. I am glad she did because I never got to try them when they first launched.  Let me tell you, they are some pretty, darn good smelling perfumes, and the bottles these smelling waters come in are visually stunning as well.  As you can already see, I did not buy the perfumes. I was fortunate enough to get some free samples, and I hope you do not scuff at these perfume samples, because they can last a good while and are great for travel. Saint & Sinner does come in three sizes, 10ml ($22.00), 50ml ($65.00), & 100ml ($85.00)

[Kat Von D] Lock-It Color Correcting Eyeshadow Primer Review

Image
This eyeshadow primer is simply the combo of a primer and concealer put together. If you have prominent, pigmented veins and blood vessels discoloration on your lids like I do, you may benefit from Kat Von D's Lock-It Color Correction Eyeshadow Primer . This pencil does create a skin-color camouflage layer on your lids, leaving the skin tacky for eyeshadow to adhere to and stay put for a longer period of time.

Kat Von D "Immortal Lash" 24-Hour Mascara Review

Image
The black and red design on the packaging is perfect for this mascara's name, "Immortal Lash". The matte tube looks menacing and forbidden. Even so, I knew I had to try it. I haven't seen or heard people talk about this mascara unless I specifically do some research on it, but this mascara has not been a mainstream favorite for a while now since it is considered old news. Even so, I finally got my hands on this baby, and I am so happy that I did.

Sephora Favorites: Give Me Some Lip Kit Review

Image
This is my favorite Sephora Favorites to date. I know I said this for the last Sephora Favorites I bought, but this one topped it. The Give Me Some Lip may be small compared to the latter, but this little lip-shaped box consist of some awesome goodies for a great value.  You pay $28.00 for a Value of $97.00.

Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: "Sexer"

Image
This color is intensely SEXY which is a no brainer on why Kat Von D named this color, "Sexer" . It is a vibrant, metallic hot pink and it is a miracle that Formula X was able to recreate this powerful sex kitten color into a nail polish form. The two colors match perfectly!

Formula X & Kat Von D Collab: MERCY

Image
This is the very first collaboration between Sephora's Formula X Nails and Kat Von D ! So what Formula X did was create matching nail polish colors with a few of Kat Von D's popular Studded Kiss Lipsticks and this is my first impressions on the color "Mercy", a Romantic Garnet Berry color. There are a total of 8 duos (Nailpolish + Lipstick Minis, $15) available. This is also my first time trying out Formula X's Nailpolishes and Kat Von D's Studded Kiss Lipsticks .

Contour Products: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette

Image
There are so many contour palettes and sets that have come out in the past few months that it was really hard to choose one to try out due to my budget. The deciding factor on placing an order for Kat Von D's contour palette was due to my amazing experience with her eyes "Shade + Light" Contour Palette . But was it the right choice to make?

Eyeshadow Palettes: Kat Von D "Monarch" Eyeshadow Palette

The packaging, the shadows, the concept...everything about this Kat Von D "Monarch" Eyeshadow Palette is...PERFECTO!

Makeup Brushes: Kat Von D "Shade + Light" Contour Brush

Image
Ever since I used the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Brush, I was really curious about the her Shade & Light "Face" Contour Brush. I have been getting into bronzing and contouring my face lately (just to try it out) and I have been loving my e.l.f Angled Blush Brush to apply my bronzer, which is the same size and shape as the "Shade" part of the "Shade + Light" Contour Brush. That was when I knew it was time for me to finally purchase this baby.

Tutorial: GRWM for Thanksgiving Dinner/Party

Image
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you have a great holiday of warmth and comfort which is the vibe I was going for in the look. The colors I used are all warm tones of orange, brown, and beige. They are the colors of Fall and Thanksgiving. I wanted the makeup to look warm and inviting, not too much because you are going to be around family and friends, people you should not have to impress...but we all know there's always that one aunt or uncle or cousin or sibling...good ole' family drama!  If you want to see how I created this look, here is a link to my video Tutorial:  "GRWM for Thanksgiving Dinner or Party!" I know I usually share with you step-by-step picture instructions on the look, but today I want to share with you some future plans I have with the eyeshadow palette that I used for this look! I am definitely going to do an epic series with this palette, because after playing around with it I can tell I had fallen in love. Everything about the...

Makeup Brushes: Kat Von D "Shade + Light" Eye Contour Brush

Image
I have mentioned before in my review on the  +thekatvond    " Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette & Brush" video , that I do not like the casing this brush comes in. It looks like a coffin! It also feels cheap, but what I paid the $29.00  was for the brush and the brush itself makes up for the ugly packaging.

Eye Liner: Kat Von D "Tattoo Liner" Review

Image
I can easily tell you why I love this eyeliner so much...and it's not just because of the Tattoo Queen herself, Kat Von D. It's the fact that this liquid pen eyeliner is just that good!  I was fortunate enough to get two free deluxe-samples of this eyeliner to try and when these two run-out, I am definitely getting the full size, priced at $19.00. (Kat Von D makeup are sold exclusively at Sephora )

Tutorial: Kat Von D's Eye Technique Tips: Widen, Define, & Lift the looks of your eyes

Image
Learning to reshape your eyes with makeup is a must know for both amateur and expert makeup wearers. I know for a fact that I do not know all the tricks or even have that much skill in applying eye makeup. All I know is that I love playing with makeup and I love how makeup enhances and changes the way I look. So when I first bought Kat Von D's "Shade + Light" Eye Contour Palette , I was pleasantly pleased to see useful tutorials in her makeup guide booklet. Usually in eyeshadow palettes like these it comes with a booklet of what kind of looks you can do with the shadows in the palette, but in Kat Von D's case, she actually is teaching you techniques on how to use shadows to change the shape of your eyes.

Tutorial: "Spring Lilac" feat. Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette

Image
This look was inspired by the eyeshadow "Astrological", a beautiful lilac eyeshadow from Kat Von D's Innerstellar Palette. So I created a look around this lovely Lilac Shadow.  I know that Spring is still a good month and a half away, but the colors that I used look so bright and fresh that it reminded me of Spring, hence, why I decided to call this look, "Spring Lilac".  If you are interested on step-by-step instructions on how to re-create this look, click on the link provided:  "Spring Lilac" Eyes Of course, you can use whatever makeup you have available to re-create this look, but if you are interested, here is a list of the products I used: -Nxy Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk) - Kat Von D "Innerstellar" Eyeshadow Palette -Kat Von D Tattoo Liner -Jordana BestLash Extreme Volumizing Mascara -Urban Decay "Urban" Lashes RELATED POST: Tutorial "Silver Moon" Eye Look feat. This is a perfect look for the New Year Celebration to come. You can find this palette at Sephora, at $46.00. You can find my full review of this palette here, but in this post, I will be sharing with you on how I achieved this eye look, and which products I used.
