Eyeshadow Palettes: Urban Decay "Vice 4" Palette Review

These Urban Decay Vice Palettes just keep getting better and better every year! This is actually the only annual eyeshadow palette that I wait for to be available on the website...this year the Vice4 became available on the UD Website between 12:30am to 1:30am, and the minute I realized I can place an order, I did just that! Whoohoo! Got it before it sold out! Mission Accomplish!

Isn't it beautiful!
This palette is now available on the Urban Decay Website, as well as, Sephora & Ulta, for $60.00.
The inspiration for this Year's Vice palette was Urban Decay's vintage color "Oil Slick", described as a Black with Silver Micro-Glitter. The palette comes with a little pouch that not only fits the Vice4 but also a IPad-Mini. Inside you will find a huge mirror, a double-ended vice brush, and 20 never seen before eyeshadows.

Here is a closer look at the shadows.

Just by looking at the shadows, there are a few that really jumps out at me. I particularly love all the jewel-tone shadows. Initially I thought these colors were not going live up to the Urban Decay Vice3 Palette, but once I swatched them, I was in love.

If you are curious about what the shadows' colors are described by Urban Decay, please visit their website, link is provided.

These shadows are so pigmented and they have so much depth to them. For example, Grasshopper is not just a green jewel-tone shimmer, it is a bright, jewel-tone emerald with green micro-glitter that gives the shadow great dimension. Each of the shimmer, metallic, and glitter shadows have this dimension to them that sets them apart. The mattes in this palette are also perfect to tie everything together and I love how different the mattes are from each other.

I have already used several of these shadows, and Urban Decay never fails to create intense pigment while still managing to create shadows that are easy to work with. The shadows blended beautifully with each other. The colors keep their intensity for hours on end, so you can wear your eye look all day and night long.

I absolutely love this year's 2015 Vice 4 palette. It is definitely worth every penny!
What holiday palette do you look forward to every year?

Happy Wandering! Alice
