Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist 5 Lipstick Palette in "RED"

This is my 1st Make Up For Ever Lip Product I have ever tried and what a great first experience! I have heard from many sources that Make Up For Ever's Makeup is rich and intense in pigmentation, and the quality of their products are outstanding. This Rouge Artist 5 Lipstick Palette in "RED" lived up and beyond my expectations. I was literally mind-blown!

This palette does retail at $39.00, and in each pan you get 0.02oz of product, which is not much especially if you compare it to their full size lipstick which is $20.00 per lipstick of 0.12 oz of product. The only upside is that you do get to have five colors versus the one, and each pan is refillable. Refills are only $8.00 a piece, and you get to choose wantever color you want to try next.

The lip palette consist of five Make Up For Ever red lipsticks. Four are from their Intense  Rouge Artist Lipstick Collection and one is from their Natural Rouge Artist Lipstick collection. 

So from left to right swatches (same order in the palette too), here are the names of each color. You have #42: Intense "Satin Vermillion Red", #21: Intense "Pearly Bright Red", #42: Intense "Moulin Rouge", #48: Natural "Griotte Red", and #48: Intense "Satin Black Current".

Now let's talk about the amazing quality of these lip colors. Each color provides the lips with great pigmentation. The Natural one "Griotte Red" looks more like a stain, but it is beautiful nevertheless. The lipsticks are all long wearing, and it also fades evenly and elegantly, so you don't have to worry about looking like a hot mess after you eat or drink anything. I also love how comfortable and moisturizing these are to wear, and they do not bleed outside my lip line which is great because I don't like to take that extra step to apply on a lipliner if I can get away with it.

The only thing that I somewhat have a complaint with this product, is that you do need to take the time to carefully apply each color. Because they are so intense, it is easy to mess up the look if you rush the application process. Luckily this palette comes with a lip brush that works great. This is definitely a travel friendly product. It has everything you need for your lips; a mirror, a lip brush, and five gorgeous colors. 

I am eyeing Lip Palette #3, "Warm Beige", and cannot wait to try out more Make Up For Ever Lipsticks! I am really impressed!
