Micellar Water: Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Micellar Technology is one of the best newest makeup removing inventions to become popular in the 21st century and I am so happy that there is another one available at the drugstore. The more variety to choose from the better!

Presenting the +Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water and this stuff is amazing!

The difference between the Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Cleansing Micellar Water and the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water is that the Garnier is a Bi-Phase cleanser, meaning there are ingredients that sit on top of one another, and when mixed together they create a super ingredient. So make sure to shake well before each use.

So does it work better than the single-phase Simple Micellar Water?

From my experience and opinion, I say, "Yes it does."

The Garnier Micellar Water is gentle, does not irritate the eyes, and it takes off waterproof makeup a lot quicker than the Simple version. What the Simple has over Garnier is that you don't have to rinse after use because the Simple actually feels like water on the skin. Even though the Garnier is meant to be rinse-free, I still feel a bit of slick residue left on my face.

But overall, it's great for removing makeup without hassle and you get 13.5 fl oz for $8.99. Where the Simple Micellar Water is $7.99, but you get only 6.7 fl oz. So you get more for your buck and it removes waterproof eye makeup quicker.

There is a sensitive version that I have purchased but haven't tried yet. However, I feel the regular one is already gentle enough for sensitive skin types. So imagine how much more gentle the sensitive one is. A visual difference between the two is the sensitive version is not a bi-phase cleansing water. So I will have to see if it will work just as good, but from experience, I have a feeling it is not going to be as good as the bi-phase micellar water.

Have you tried this Micellar Cleansing Water yet? Let me know how you like it!
Happy Wandering! Alice
