Tutorial: Urban Decay "Vice 4" Look: Wearable Browns

The Urban Decay Vice Palettes are always so bold with intense, colorful colors. Since I already did two colorful looks using this palette, I thought why not do a completely normal, wearable-look using a completely not-normal, colorful palette of eyeshadows.

Of course the shadows that I used are the typical neutral shadows in the palette.
Here are the steps I took in creating this look.

Shadow #1: Bitter (A matte brick brown)
With a blending brush pat the shadow to the center of the lids, and then blend it a little past the crease to create a gradual upwards fade.

Shadow #2: Framed (Satin Neutral Cream)
Use this shadow to blend the edges of the brick brown shadow and then blend it to the brow bone.

Shadow #3: Delete (Deep Matte Chestnut Brown)
Apply this to the lid and then use the blending brush you applied the brick shadow with to blend the chestnut shadow into the brick shadow, so the two colors can integrate nicely together.

Next Step: Balancing the Eyes
Now do the same to the bottom lash line. Apply the shadow, Bitter first and then the shadow, Delete over Brick and closer to the lash line. For the inner corners and directly below the brows, apply more of the highlight shadow, Framed.

Final Steps: Defining the Eyes
Finish off the eyes with some liquid liner to the top lash line and black kohl liner to the waterline, and some mascara for the lashes.

And the "Wearable Browns" Eye Look is complete!

I hope you like this simple, everyday look!
