Food: "HelloFresh" A Weekly Food Delivery Service

HelloFresh is a meal delivery service that ships recipes with pre-measured ingredients to your door every week, if you so choose.






I decided to start using this meal delivery service to try out new recipes, as well as, help me save time in planning out dinners and grocery shopping (I learned that each delivery can last me at least two weeks). Since I was offered a 50% off the first order, I decided it was the perfect time to give them a try.

There are 3 recipes boxes to choose from: the Classic Box (For Omnivores), the Veggie Box (For Herbivores) and the Family Box (For Families). I chose the Classic Box of 3 meals per week for 2 people for $69.00, which is their smallest possible order, and I chose my delivery day to be on a Monday.

Here are the three recipes that I have received in this first order:

1. Tuscan Ribollita...with Kale, Italian Sausage, & Parmesan Croutons.

2. Soy-Glazed Steak...wtih Wasabi Mashed Potatoes & Sesame Spinach.

3. Turkey & Sage Tetrazzini...with Sweet Peas, Mushrooms & Parmasan Cream








Everything was packaged in each of their recipe individual boxes with three huge, solid ice packs on the bottom to keep the meat and perishables fresh.

All of the recipes look delicious. I have already cooked two out of the three recipes and they were both delicious. (I will upload my thoughts and experience about each meal soon, since I did change the recipe up a bit to fit my taste.)

I am not planning on placing an order every week or even every month, but I will definitely be ordering a few meals from time to time just to change things up a bit. So don't be surprised if I post up foodie blogs from time to time from here on out!
