Maybelline Lip Gloss Palette Review

Okay, I love this Lip Gloss Palette. I really do!
I am so happy that drugstores are coming out with palettes! We have contour palettes, eyeshadow palettes, now lip palettes! The drugstore just keeps getting better and better every year for the average consumer because let's be honest, we all can't go shopping at Sephora or High End Department stores every month to buy the latest and coolest releases. So having more unique choices at the drugstore is welcomed!

The quality and color choices of this palette are phenomenal. You have your choices of pinks, nudes, peaches, berries and reds. You literally have an endless amount of color because you can also mix and match to create a whole new line of colors. 


The quality is just as great. The glosses go on with a nice hint of color that is build-able. They all feel moisturizing on the lips and last for a good amount of time. Even when they do eventually fade away, your lips are left with a nice stain.


The only down side is the size of the product. I understand that it is big because of the amount of color choices you get, but it is not ideal for traveling. Not only is it a bit comical pulling this out your purse to reapply, but you can't just apply it anywhere, even though it comes with a lip brush, it does not come with a mirror. So this is not ideal for carrying around, but it is great piece for a makeup artist to keep in their train cases. 

This palette retails around $11.99, which is not bad for 8 wonderful lip gloss colors.

Holiday Collection is one of the best holiday sets that has come out this year in terms of being able to try out permanent products from the brand without the bulky, over-extravagant packaging. The artwork on the packaging is done by Aritst Ann Strumpf, and each set comes with stickers displaying her artwork as well.
